First Real Estate Company Listing in Local Bourse

JS Land PLC, a real estate development company, officially announced the sale of shares in local bourse – Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) – on Feb. 10, becoming the first real estate company listed in Cambodia.
The JS Land PLC plans to raise fund of approximately US$12 million.
Speaking at the official listing companies on Thursday, H.E. Hong Sok Hour, Director General of CSX, said the presence of the company would serve as a model for other real estate companies as well as those in other sectors to consider diversifying sources of capital through the stock market to seize opportunities to share growth in the future.
The CSX now has 16 listed securities – 10 stocks and 6 bonds. The total capital raised by all companies from the capital market is more than US$281 million.
