Full Flight Simulator Training Centre Officially Launched in Cambodia

Lanmei University of Cambodia has launched officially an international flight simulator centre, located near the Phnom Penh International Airport, as it aims to contribute to building human resources in the aviation industry in Cambodia.

The launching ceremony was held on Mar. 21 under the presidency of H.E. Mao Havannall, Minister in charge of the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, H.E. Wang Wentian, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Mr. Li Kun, Chairman of the Lanmei Aviation Group, and many other relevant officials.

The centre is equipped with the US$10-million Airbus A320 full flight simulator, produced by Canada’s CAE group, for training.

H.E. Mao Havannall said the centre of the Lanmei University of Cambodia is a milestone of aviation sector and human resource development in Cambodia.

The flight simulator centre receives financial support from the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Framework, according to the Lanmei Aviation Group.
