GDCE Collects Some US$ 763 Million in the First 5 Months

Cambodia’s General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance collected a total of US$763 million state revenue in the first 5 months of this year, up some 22 per cent compared to the same period last year.

The figure was shared here at a recent annual meeting chaired by H.E. Kun Nhim, General Director of GDCE.

The amount of income accounted for about 46 per cent of planed income set in Budget Law 2016.

Last year, GDCE collected some 5,455 billion Riel (or roughly US$ 1,58 billion), an increase by 17,4 per cent compared with 2014.
