Gold Medals for Taekwondo in SEA Games 2023 Aimed

President of Cambodia International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) has encouraged Cambodian Taekwondo athletes to aim for 15 gold medals for the SEA Games 2023 hosted by Cambodia.
H.E. Keo Remy who is also ITF Vice Chairman and Chairman of ASEAN ITF voiced the encouragement in a closing ceremony of the Cambodia National ITF Taekwondo Championship 2021 in Phnom Penh recently.
The aim demonstrates the government’s confidence and is in line with medal index set by Cambodia SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC), continued H.E. Keo Remy.
Hard training, he underlined, is crucial for the athletes to develop their capacity to reach the achievement at the SEA Games 2023.
Supporting the aim, H.E. Ouk Sithycheat, Director General of the Sports General Department of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, spoke highly of the effort of Cambodia ITF leaders and athletes in development of the sport.
Happening on Jan. 27-29, the Cambodia National ITF Taekwondo Championship 2021 attracted the participation of 132 athletes from 18 clubs from 6 provinces and cities and 2 ministries.
There were 23 subjects in the competition classified into big three subjects including martail arts, special techniques and single fighting.
