Government Welcomes Over US$720 million Investment Projects in the First Eight Months

In the first eight months of 2019, the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) licensed 21 new investment projects worth over US$720 million.

The update was shared by the council, adding that the investments will create more than 14,000 jobs for the locals.

The projects focus on services such as five and three-star hotels, solar power plants, food processing, manufacturing of carton box, foam, wire, cable, lighting and home decoration materials, and bag, garment and footwear.

The licensed projects belong to Hai Gang Grand Hotel Co., Ltd., Xigang V-Continent International Investment Co., Ltd., Amamoke Tobacco (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and Gorgeous Steel Structure (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. located in Preah Sihanouk province; Schneitec Sustainable Co., Ltd. in Pursat province, Schneitec Sustainable Co., Ltd. in Kampong Chhnang province; Suo Feiya (Cambodia) Apparel Co., Ltd., Hyudai Packaging (Cambodia) II Co., Ltd., Ya Zhi (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., Eastcrown Footwear industry Co., Ltd., Qy Bag & Luggage (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and Royal Field Development Company Co., Ltd. in Phnom Penh; Hengnan International Trading (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. in Takeo province; Yu Yue Handbag Co., Ltd. and Pristine Textile (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. in Kampong Speu province; Zhejiang Chishun Foam Co., Ltd., Xin Chi Xing Packaging Co., Ltd., Chiang Cu Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. and Wing Art Lighting and Giftware Co., Ltd. in Svay Rieng province; E.G.N. Easy Co., Ltd. in Kandal province; and Cambodian Decorative Building Material Chakrey Ting Co., Ltd. in Kampot province.
