India Contributes US$50,000 to ECCC

The Government of India has made a further contribution of US$50,000 to the national component of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Court of Cambodia (ECCC) or the Khmer Rouge Tribunal this year, said an ECCC's press release AKP received this morning.

According to the same source, this installment brings the total financial assistance provided by the Government of India to US$1,100,000 since the Court's inception in 2006.

On behalf of the ECCC, we would like to express our gratitude for the support offered by the Government of India, said Acting Director of Administration Tony Kranh and Deputy Director of Administration Knut Rosandhaug in a joint statement.
