The Ministry of Information (MoInfo) has entered into media cooperation agreements with the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI), and the Ministry of Tourism (MoT).
The MoU signing ceremonies were held separately at the Ministry of Information on June 21, and H.E. Neth Pheaktra, Minister of MoInfo; H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of MISTI; and H.E. Sok Soken, Minister of MoT were the signatories.
Speaking at the function, the three ministers laid stress on the necessity to have the cooperation MoUs between the three ministries in disseminating activities, mission and achievements of MISTI and MoT to the public.
The cooperation will contribute to building the public’s confidence on state institutions and to fighting against fake news, H.E. Neth Pheaktra underlined.
H.E. Minister also reaffirmed the readiness of the state-owned media institutions, including the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP), the National Radio of Cambodia (RNK), and the National Television of Cambodia (TVK) as well as
the ministry’s mobile app (APP MoINFO) to successfully carry out the signed MoUs.
