Japan Grants US$4.5 Million for Road Maintenance and Traffic Safety in Cambodia

Japan has granted another US$4.5 million worth grant aid to promote road maintenance and traffic safety in Cambodia.

The notification was shared yesterday on official Facebook page of the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E Prak Sokhonn represented Cambodian side to ink the exchange of notes of grant aid with H.E. Horinouchi Hidehisa, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia.

Titled Economic and Social Development Programme grant aid, the assistance is expected to significantly contribute to time saving and long life pavements for road maintenance and traffic safety in Cambodia, wrote the notification.
