Japan To Support Teacher Education College Construction in Cambodia

Cambodia and Japan will sign here tomorrow the Exchange of Notes and Record of Discussions on the extension of grant aid up to the amount of some US$28 million, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s press release AKP received this afternoon.

H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Horinouchi Hidehisa, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, will be the signatories.

The grant will be used to implement the Project for the Construction of Teacher Education Colleges in Phnom Penh and Battambang province.

This grant aid has been extended by the Government of Japan to the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia with a view to further promote human resource capacity of the Kingdom of Cambodia and meet the requirement for socio-economic development of the nation.
