The Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) are going to organise Cambodia-Japan “Co-Creation” Networking Symposium on Aug. 11, 2023 at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh.

“As the year 2023 marks the 70th anniversary of friendship between Cambodia and Japan and the 50th anniversary of friendship between ASEAN and Japan, we, as the organisers, hope that this Networking Symposium will further promote economic co-creation for further global trends in both countries,” said a press release from JETRO.

Eight Japanese companies with cutting-edge technologies capable of upgrading agriculture, emission detection and tracing, emission reduction and forest conservation in Cambodia will be introduced on the occasion.

According to the schedule, the symposium will be opened with remarks from Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and Ms. Marisa Haruta, Chief Representative of JETRO Phnom Penh.

After that, there will be the introduction of satellite-based projects by JAXA and of technologies of Japanese companies.

Following the morning symposium, audience members will be invited to a networking lunch with Japanese companies.
