Malindo Lands First Flight in Phnom Penh

Malindo airline has landed its inaugural fight in Phnom Penh capital with long-term business commitment with Cambodia, according to local media report.

Upon its arrival from Kuala Lumpur in the morning of Dec. 1, 2017 carrying 125 passengers, including Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia H.E. Dato’ Sri Hasan Malek, the Malaysia-based and Indonesia-owned airline was specially welcomed at Phnom Penh International Airport.

Malindo Air’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Chandran Rama Muthy was quoted in the report saying that Cambodia is the company’s 17th country with Malindo flights.

With the operation of the airline, according to Mr. Eric Delobel � Chief Executive Officer of Phnom Penh International Airport, passengers can enjoy seven flights every day to Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia.

Currently, Malindo airline is operating about 800 flights every week back and forth 46 routes in the region.

To cheer the opening of its flight to Phnom Penh, the company is offering special arrangements and discounts for all types of passengers.
