Managing Director of Mitsubishi Corporation Phnom Penh Liaison Office Pays Courtesy Visit to Cambodian PM

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy visit from Mr. Kanda Yugo, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Corporation Phnom Penh Liaison Office, on the sidelines of the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit in Kumamoto city, Japan on April 23.
According to H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, during the meeting, Mr. Kanda Yugo, also President of Japanese Business Association in Cambodia, briefed Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the activities of his company in Cambodia, as well as its three subsidiary companies investing in manufacturing and exporting garment products from Cambodia to international markets, in importing vehicles to the Cambodian market, and in elevator sale, installation, restoration and maintenance.
For his part, the Cambodian Premier congratulated Mitsubishi for its progress in Cambodia since the launch of its operation in 1997. He encouraged both countries to increase their two-way trade and boost the Cambodian exports, mainly garment products, to the Japanese market.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his delight that the Japanese Business Association in Cambodia holds regular meeting (twice a year) with the Council for the Development of Cambodia and Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia.
