National Committee for Tourism Development has officially disseminated and launched the “Master Plan for Mondulkiri Tourism Development 2022-2035” which is a guide for the development of tourism sector in the northeastern area of the country.
The official dissemination and launch of “Master Plan for Mondulkiri Tourism Development 2022-2035” were held this morning under the presidency of H.E Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Chairman of the National Committee for Tourism Development, via a videoconference, along with senior officials and representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, embassies, sub-national administrations, development partners, and private sector.
The Royal Government of Cambodia has considered the importance and necessity of preparing and implementing the “Master Plan for Mondulkiri Tourism Development 2022-2035” as a compass to guide important mechanisms and strategic directions for tourism development in Mondulkiri province.
Additionally, the master plan is to response to the vision of national development for the period 2021-2035 and in the years to come, as well as contributing to the development of the northeastern region, with Mondulkiri as a core province, into the fourth economic pole of Cambodia.
