H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, has attended the launch of the Report of ASEAN Youth Development Index Phase II.
Organised by ASEAN Secretariat, the launching ceremony took place on Aug. 30 virtually via Zoom.
The ASEAN Youth Development Index Phase II focuses on awareness, values and identity of the youth in the context of ASEAN.
The ASEAN youth development index phase I was officially launched in 2017 with the focus on education, health and welfare, jobs and opportunities and engagement.
The ASEAN youth development index was established to help concerned stakeholders to make decision and develop an informed policy in order to support and promote the potential of youth, enhance youth development as well as to raise awareness of youth on ASEAN.
