Ministry of Commerce Launches Cambodian Products Trade Fair in a Northwestern Province

As part of the Buying Khmer Product Campaign, the Ministry of Commerce launched here yesterday the Cambodian Products Trade Fair 2017 in Battambang, a northwestern province, according to the ministry’s news release.

Organised by the Trade Promotion General Department of the Ministry of Commerce, the exhibition was opened under the presidency of Commerce Minister H.E. Pan Sorasak.

Speaking at the event, H.E. Pan Sorasak called on the public to continue their support to the local products. Please continue supporting the Khmer products. If you want the national products to survive, don’t like only foreign taste, he said.

H.E. Pan Sorasak also recommended the local producers and entrepreneurs to put all efforts to develop their products and services with quality and decent price as well as to build confidence of local consumers and foreign visitors.

The trade fair, taking place from May 25 to 28, is aimed to encourage Cambodian people to support local products as well as to help strengthen productions of factories, enterprises, handicrafts in the country.

Beside the fair, there will be workshop and mega concert of Buying Khmer Products on the occasion.
