Ministry of Commerce To Implement Three New Projects to Promote Trade and Investment

The Cambodian Ministry of Commerce will carry out three new projects next year to promote the country’s trade and investment sectors.

The information was made known here yesterday by H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, while chairing the 27th Sub-Steering Committee on Trade Development and Trade Related Investment, according to a news release of the Ministry of Commerce.

H.E. Pan Sorasak pointed out that the three new projects are the “e-Trade for All” initiated by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the GIZ IAI (Initiative for ASEAN Integration), and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)’s Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders (AIMS).

The meeting was attended by over 60 representatives from relevant ministries, project implementing agencies and development partners.
