Mondulkiri To Present Cambodia’s Biggest Recreational Park

Northeastern Mondulkiri province will present Cambodia's biggest recreational park in a near future, according to local media report.

The Royal Government of Cambodia has already established a working group to draw up a master plan of the park to sit at the heart of the mountainous province and encompass the land surface of more than 20 hectare.

As underlined by the source, H.E. Chea Sophara, Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction will lead the construction of the park, whose name will be dedicated to Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and his wife � widely recognised as the heroes of the country.

Home to various kinds of trees and plants as well as adult's and children's playground and other recreational sites, the park will not only serve as entertaining purpose, but also promote tourism and researches.

The location selected for park was once the province's airport.
