MOWRAM Appeals for More Vigilance of Low Temperature

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has called on the public to be extra vigilant as the country will continue to face low temperature this week.

The appeal was made in an announcement on new weather forecast made public this morning.

According to the same source, from Jan. 25 to 31, the minimum temperature would drop to 15 degrees Celsius, mainly at highland areas. The most affected provinces would be Mondulkiri, Rattanakiri, Preah Vihear, and Oddar Meanchey.

For central lowland and coastal areas, it added, the temperature would decrease up to 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively while the maximum temperature would be at 33 degrees Celsius.
