Ministry of Public Works and Transports (MPWT) has asked the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to help setting up five Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations.
The request was made known by H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport during a meeting held on Wednesday.
One of them will be stationed at the MPWT and the other 4 are in province and capital, said H.E Sun Chanthol.
The ministry is seeking funds to buy two EVs to show the example and to promote the use of EVs in the country, he said.
