NA President Encourages New Portuguese Ambassador to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, has encouraged newly appointed Portuguese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto to further promote the trade, investment and tourism cooperation between both countries.

The encouragement was made during the meeting between the Cambodian NA president and the Bangkok-based Portuguese ambassador, at the NA Palace, Phnom Penh on Jan. 19.

Samdech Heng Samrin affirmed that the Cambodian NA is ready to fully support and cooperate with H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto for the success of his diplomatic mission, and highly valued the achievements that Portugal has attained so far.

For his part, H.E. Francisco Vaz pledged to further strengthen the relations between both countries' executive and legislative bodies during his diplomatic term, particularly the bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism and investment.
