NEC Pledges to Do its Best for Success of General Election 2018

The National Election Committee (NEC) has been committed to improving its weaknesses for the success of the general election 2018.

The pledge was made by H.E. Sik Bunhok, Chairman of NEC when presiding over the opening ceremony of NEC's new office building here in Phnom Penh recently.

The NEC chairman said that he wants NEC to become an ethical institution that builds its services on technical and legal bases and justice, not on political affiliation.

While acknowledging areas for improvement, H.E. Sik Bunhok also underlined success of the committee in facilitating the recent local election.

Located adjacent to the National Assembly, NEC's new building consists of 15 floors, costing about US$12 million.
