Newly Appointed Cambodian Ambassadors Bid Legislative Body’s Heads Farewell

AKP Phnom Penh, �Six newly appointed Cambodian ambassadors paid yesterday separate farewell visits to Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate, and Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly, before their departure for their respective missions.

Those new ambassadors are accredited to UK, Indonesia, Germany, Lao PDR, Singapore, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

On the occasion, the leaders of the legislative body congratulated the ambassadors on their appointment and gave them some recommendations.

Samdech Say Chhum suggested them to pay attention to the strengthening and expansion of international cooperation on politics, foreign affairs, agriculture, trade, tourism, investment, and culture, as well as to the protection of interests of Cambodian people living in their respective hosting countries.

For his part, Samdech Heng Samrin urged them to further promote the country's potential sectors to the foreigners.
