No New Infections of COVID-19 in Cambodia for Four Consecutive Days

Cambodia has found no new case of COVID-19 for four days in a row; the tally thus remains at 136,262.

The good news, to be announced by the Ministry of Health tomorrow, was shared by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in his third voice message today.

“This success reflects the effectiveness of our vaccination programme,” he underlined.

According to the Premier, only more than 20 COVID-19 patients remain at hospital.

As of May 9, a total of 93.63 percent of the total population of 16 million in Cambodia have been inoculated with the basic doses.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen arrived now Alaska, the U.S. before continuing to Washington D.C. to attend and co-chair the ASEAN-U.S. Special Summit on May 12-13.
