Cambodia has welcomed over 1.57 million international visitors during the first ten months of this year, pointed out the latest report of the Ministry of Tourism, highlighting a positive sign for Cambodian tourism recovery.
The figure, 1,575,954 to be exact, represents an increased by 991.1 percent compared to the same period of 2021, it underlined.
Among the registered foreign tourists, the report said, 559,918 arrived by air, up 706.6 percent; 1,005,549 by land, up 1,240.4 percent; and 10,487 by waterway, up 524,250 percent.
Thailand topped the list of foreign arrivals in Cambodia during the said period, followed by Vietnam, China, the United States of America, Laos, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, France, and the United Kingdom.
