Over US$29 Million Investment Projects Approved

Five more investment projects with a total capital of US$29.2 million have been granted green light, said the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) in a press release made public on Wednesday.
Located in the provinces of Svay Rieng and Takeo, and Phnom Penh capital, these new projects belong to five different companies, it added.
The five companies will invest in the manufacture of light bulbs and assembly parts, electronic devices and spare parts, clothes, and Christmas trees and souvenirs, the CDC pointed out.
The newly approved projects are expected to create about 4,561 jobs for locals, the same source said.
