Phnom Penh Capital To Have Nine New Public Toilets

Phnom Penh capital city will soon have nine new public toilets to make it more convenient to both domestic and international tourists.

Director of Municipal Department of Public Works and Transport Mr. Sam Piseth shared the progress, adding that the public toilets are of high standard.

The new public sanitation facilities were installed at nine popular recreation sites in Phnom Penh, including Botum Vattey park and children’s playground, Phirom Ngoy park, Arey Ksad park, the park along Chaktomuk riverside, Wat Phnom children’s playground, the park in front of the French Embassy, and the park in front of the Ministry of National Defence.

Of the nine public toilets, the one in front of the Ministry of National Defence is undergoing the construction and will be completed shortly.
