Phnom Penh, Kanagawa Boost Cooperation on Environment

Phnom Penh Deputy Governor H.E. Ieng Aunny held talks here recently with an advisor of Japan’s deputy minister of education, culture, sports, science and technology on the project of Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) between Phnom Penh capital and Kanagawa city of Japan.

The meeting is aimed to strengthen the ties of friendship between the two countries’ cities, and to prepare for the signing of a MoU on environmental protection and other fields so as to contribute to Phnom Penh’s development.

H.E. Ieng Aunny expressed thanks to the Government of Japan for its assistance, through Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), for the development of Cambodia in all sectors.
