Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said on Thursday that religion plays a key role in building mental peace, social security, and religious harmony in Cambodia and around the world.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen made the remarks while presiding over the opening ceremony of the 6th National Inter-Faith Forum Against Human Trafficking.
The organisation of the forum was resumed this year under the theme “Do Not Use Cambodia as Destination of Trafficking in Persons”, after being postponed in the past two years due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen laid stress on the harmony of religions in Cambodia, which always cooperate and support each other with gentleness, without conflict and without causing division and disaster in society.
