PM Gives Remarks on Three Important Statements

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Mona Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this afternoon said three statements adopted at the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits are the core of the bloc’s achievements.
Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said those three important statements are the ASEAN Leaders’ Statement on the 55th Anniversary of ASEAN, the ASEAN Leaders’ Statement on ASEAN Connectivity Post-2025 Agenda, and the ASEAN Leaders’ Vision Statement on ‘ASEAN A.C.T: Addressing Challenges Together’.
At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen also highlighted the outcomes of the 16 summits held in Phnom Penh, from Nov. 10 to 13, attended by 29 leaders of different nations and international institutions.
“What Cambodia has done in the past four days reflects the leading role of Cambodia as the ASEAN Chair under the theme of ‘ASEAN A.C.T.: Addressing Challenges Together’ for harmony, peace, and prosperity in the whole region,” he stressed at the press conference.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also mentioned about the ASEAN Leader’s review and decision on the Implementation of the Five-Point Consensus, some major outcomes related to the South China Sea issue, Ukraine War which are the “hot rocks” in the East Asian Summit, the Korean Peninsula issue, and so on.
