PM Hun Sen To Attend the Inauguration of Cambodian Trade Centre in China’s Shaanxi Province

AKP Phnom Penh, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen will attend the inauguration ceremony of Cambodian trade centre in Xi’an of China’s Shaanxi province.

H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian premier, told this to reporters after the meeting here yesterday afternoon between Samdech Techo Hun Sen and visiting Governor of Shaanxi province H.E. Hu Heping.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen thus recommended the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to work with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Cambodia to arrange his visit to Shaanxi to inaugurate the trade centre.

For his part, H.E. Hu Heping underlined that the trade centre will play a key role contributing to boosting the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between both countries, particularly the tourism and trade sectors.

In November last year, Cambodia officially launched a trade centre in Haining, China’s province of Zhejiang to promote culture and diversify the export of Cambodian products to the Chinese markets. The country is also working to establish three more trade centres in three different Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
