Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning called on his compatriots to continue paying high attention to COVID-19 and traffic accidents.
At the inauguration ceremony of the Phnom Penh-Kampot portion of National Road No. 3 held in Takeo province, Samdech Techo Hun Sen advised people to continue to wear facemask to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic and helmet to reduce the risk of death and injuries in road accidents.
Besides, to combat COVID-19, the Premier urged for continued implementation of the Three Dos, Three Don’ts measure and vaccination. He also spoke highly of the vaccination which has built his immunity against the virus even though he has come in direct contact with some COVID-19 positive people.
The total number of citizens who got the basic doses of vaccine against COVID-19 reached more than 90 percent, said Samdech Techo Hun Sen, expressing his satisfaction with the vaccination campaign of the children aged 3 to under 5 years old which has already achieved nearly 30 percent, after kicking off in the past few days.
