PM Urges Phnom Penh Authorities to Arrange Places for Disabled People’s Musical Performances

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen encouraged this morning Phnom Penh authorities to arrange convenient places for musical performances of people with disabilities.

Speaking at the celebration of the 18th National and 34th International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the Phnom Penh Municipality has to provide disabled musicians with suitable places for their performances.

It could be at Wat Phnom historical resort, the Freedom Park, the public garden in front of Botom Vattey pagoda, etc., said Samdech Techo Hun Sen, adding that these are the places where there are a lot of people, especially tourists.

Currently, there are about 20 bands of musicians with disabilities. Most of them perform at traffic lights, on sidewalk or at the market.
