Police Academies of Cambodia and Thailand To Enhance Cooperation

AKP Phnom Penh, June 30, 2016 –

The Police Academy of Cambodia and Royal Police Academy of Thailand reached here on Tuesday the letter of intent to enhance their cooperation.

The document was signed by Gen. Seng Phally, President of the Police Academy of Cambodia, and his visiting Thai counterpart, Gen. Sakda Techakriengkrai.

The document is aimed to strengthen the relationship and expand the cooperation between the two institutions in human resource training and development, said Gen. Seng Phally at the signing ceremony.

Gen. Seng Phally highlighted the fruitful result of cooperation between both Police Academies even though their cooperation started shortly, in 2015.

For his part, Gen. Sakda Techakriengkrai said that not only Cambodia and Thailand, but all the ASEAN member nations have been seeking partnership and cooperation between each other, stressing that fighting against criminal cases needs good cooperation between the neighbouring countries.
