The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has called for vigilance among the public of possible thunder, lightning, gusts and high waves this week.

According to its new weather forecast released this morning, the country would have light to heavy rain from July 6 to 12.

During the same period, it continued, the temperature would vary between 24 and 35 degrees Celsius for the central lowland areas and from 23 to 34 degrees Celsius for the highland areas.

For the coastal areas, the temperature would be between 22 and 35 degrees Celsius, pointed out the ministry, warning people, particularly fishermen and seafarers of high waves.
