President Anastasiades and Greek Premier discuss strategy following Geneva Conference on Cyprus

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades on Saturday held a phone conversation with Greek Premier Alexis Tsipras, following the Geneva Conference on Cyprus which took place on January 12.

The two men discussed the outcome of the Conference and the strategy they will follow in the next period.

Both men, according to sources close to the office of the Greek Prime Minister, agreed on the need to effectively utilize the impetus of the negotiations for a last and viable solution to the Cyprus problem, on the basis of the UN resolutions and the fact that Cyprus is an EU member state.
