President of Myanmar Begins Four-day State Visit in Cambodia

President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar H.E. U Htin Kyaw arrived here this morning for a four-day state visit in Cambodia, at the invitation of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia.

H.E. U Htin Kyaw and his spouse as well as the members of his delegation were warmly welcomed upon their arrival at the Phnom Penh International Airport by Samdech Chaufea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, and H.E. Khieu Kanharith, Minister of Information as Minister-in-attendance.

During his stay in Cambodia until Feb. 6, H.E. U Htin Kyaw will be received in a Royal Audience by His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace. He will also hold bilateral talks with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace.

Besides, H.E. U Htin Kyaw will visit Wat Phnom historical site in Phnom Penh, before leaving for Siem Reap cultural province to visit famous ancient temples, including Angkor Wat, Bayon, Taphrom and Banteay Srei, Sras Srang, and some other major tourist attractions in the province such as Angkor National Museum, Artisans Angkor, Angkor Village Theatre, and Night Market.
