Rains, accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusts, were forecast from May 31 to June 6, 2023, according to an announcement on new weather forecast released by the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) this morning.
As for the temperature, during the said period, it would vary between 25 and 35 degrees Celsius for the central lowland areas, and from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius for the mountainous areas, said the same source.
In the coastal regions, MOWRAM pointed out, the temperature would be between 23 to 32 degrees Celsius.
The ministry thus called on the public to increase their vigilance of possible natural phenomena, especially in the coastal areas where there would be high waves.
