Ruling Party Restructures Its Central Committee Members

The ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP) has restructured its central committee members from 545 to 865, in elevating its leadership capacity in response to demands of situation and tasks in this new phase.

The restructuring was endorsed here yesterday during the CPP's three-day (Jan. 19-21, 2018) extraordinary congress attended by 2,408 party's representatives from across the country, said the ruling party in its resolution released after the congress.

CPP removed names of 22 central committee members who passed away and made the by-election of 342 new central committee members, pointed out the same source.
