The Extraordinary Congress of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) to be held this weekend will set a strategic policy framework for 2023-2028, said its President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning.

While presiding over a graduation ceremony of the Western University, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said CPP will hold this weekend an Extraordinary Congress to which all CPP’s representatives from the district level will be invited.

“Thousands of CPP’s representatives from the district level will gather in the forthcoming meeting to discuss and prepare the political agenda for the next five years,” he said.

According to the Phnom Penh Municipality Hall, CPP will hold this event on Jan. 28-29 at its headquarters. In an announcement, the Phnom Penh Municipality Hall called on all passengers who are supposed to travel on Preah Norodom Blvd. from the Fishery Administration traffic lights to Kbal Thnal flyover to change to other streets to avoid traffic congestion.
