Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment To Visit Cambodia This Week

H.E. Dmitry Kobylkin, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation is going to pay a two-day visit to Cambodia, from Jan. 24 to 25, at the invitation of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC), the purpose of the visit is to attend the meeting of Co-Chairs of Cambodian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of MFA-IC H.E. Prak Sokhonn.

The meeting of the Co-Chairs of Cambodian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission seeks to review key progress achieved in the wake of the 10th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission held on Aug. 23, 2017, to set a new course of concrete actions to foster the bilateral partnership, and to unlock potentials of new spheres of cooperation.

During his stay in Cambodia, H.E. Dmitry Kobylkin will pay a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and hold bilateral meeting with H.E. Say Samal, Minister of Environment.
