Samdech Say Chhum Receives Portuguese Ambassador

President of the Senate of Cambodia Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum met here yesterday with H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto, newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal to Cambodia.

On the occasion, the Portugal diplomat expressed his commitment to boost good relations and cooperation with Cambodia.

Samdech Say Chhum warmly welcomed H.E. Francisco Vaz Patto's mission in Cambodia, with a hope for better future cooperation between the two countries.

Cambodia and Portugal have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the countries' legislative bodies as well as the political, economic, and cultural sectors.

The new Portuguese ambassador also informed Samdech Say Chhum of the opening of a trade representative office in Cambodia to boost Portugal's trade and investment activities in the Kingdom.
