Senior Peacekeeping Official Shares Planned Visit to France

Cambodia's senior official of peacekeeping forces has informed visiting French delegation of his team's preparation for official visit to the European country.

Lieutenant-General Sem Sovanny, Director General of the National Centre for Peacekeeping Forces, Mines and ERW Clearance shared the information when receiving French Defence Attache to Cambodia Lieutenant Colonel Marc Razafindranaly recently here in Phnom Penh.

As highlighted by Gen. Sem Sovanny, the main purpose of his planned trip to France is to be exposed to new skills and practices related to peacekeeping mission under the United Nations mission.

During the visit, the Cambodian delegation led by the director general will also be received by France's senior military leaders.

Lieutenant Colonel Marc Razafindranaly expressed his optimism that Gen. Sem Sovanny's working visit to France will be a successful one.
