Singapore Interested in Cambodia’s Investments in Battambang

Singapore is interested in investing in various sectors including agriculture, tourism and construction in Cambodia's Battambang province, according to local media report.

The update was shared during the meeting between Battambang provincial Governor H.E. Nguon Rattanak and Ambassador of Singapore to Cambodia H.E. Michael Tan Keng Siong here in Phnom Penh recently.

H.E. Michael Tan Keng Siong expressed his appreciation of the province's investment potentials for foreign investors, especially those from Singapore.

The Singaporean diplomat informed H.E. Nguon Rattanak that in December, Singaporean experts will come to the province to hold discussion with concerned authorities on urban planning works and other issues such as smart city, eco-tourism and beyond.

H.E. Nguon Rattanak welcomed the intention and looked forward to the upcoming visit of the Singaporean investment delegation to the province.

He underlined that Battambang is highly potential for a wide range of investments, and asked the Singaporean diplomat to continue promoting the province's opportunities for other investors.
