Smart, high-tech cooking gets a boost

Germany’s premium cookware brand Fissler is now in the Philippines through Focus Global, Inc.

In the cookware hierarchy, Fissler is recognized around the globe for repeatedly setting the standards in cooking trends with its cutting-edge innovations. From pots, pressure cookers and frypans, to knives and kitchen accessories, the brand will surely capture the hearts of Filipinos who seek quality cookware.

“We (brought) Fissler in the country because we (felt) that the Philippine market needs a good cookware. Yes, there is good cookware in the market, but Fissler is the best in terms of technology and craftsmanship. All the products, as well as its parts, are made in Germany,” Focus Global Inc. business manager Gerry Mendoza said.

In a special launch at Bonifacio Global City, a cooking demo was held by no less than Fissler’s corporate chef, especially flown in from Germany. Chef Armin Alexander Auer was joined by Fissler regional manager for Southeast Asia Linda Lee during this special launch where they had a special sneak peek into the world of Fissler. They featured flagship products like the five-piece from the Original Profi Collection, the Steelux Premium Frypan from its Crispy line, the Vitavit Edition Pressure Cooker with Vitacontrol and the Bionic Chef’s Knife.

Fissler employs exacting standards to achieve top workmanship, uncompromising quality and durability. As a matter of fact, in a ranking among the “Top 50 German Luxury Companies,” the only brand to be included in the Cookware Category is Fissler. Its products impeccably meld form and function, giving equal importance to both aesthetics and features to provide customers visual pleasure, as well as versatility in the kitchen.

From inventing the world’s first-ever pressure cooker with multi-safety control settings, Fissler has rapidly moved from traditional to smart, high-tech cooking, investing heavily on research and technology to ensure that its products are equipped with unique functionalities that make cooking a pleasure. “This is the best pressure cooker in the world. It has a system, which has a setting if you just want to steam or for tough meat cooking,” Mendoza said.

Its Vitacontrol Digital, for instance, provides customers much-needed mobility and efficiency. Designed especially for its Vitavit Premium and Vitavit Edition lines, this digital contraption can be attached to the lid of a pressure cooker upon which it collects all the data of the cooking process. Use it in conjunction with the Fissler Cooking App to recreate over 60 recipes with complete step-by-step instructions.

Meanwhile, Fissler’s patented Cook Star technology found in its professional series and high-end models provides excellent heat absorption, distribution and retention. This is a dream for many home chefs as this results in food that is evenly cooked.

The Bionic knives are a dream to use, too, as these stay razor-sharp from the time of purchase and after repeated use. There is no need to sharpen the blade – ever!

Mendoza said Fissler sales in international market is doing very well in Europe, America and Asian countries such as Taiwan and Singapore. “The Philippine market will love Fissler because it is made not only for one family usage, but for generations,” he added.

Offering great value for money, Fissler pressure cookers rank high in efficiency, saving 70 percent of cooking time and 60 percent in energy per cooking compared to normal cookware. It is also versatile enough to cook rice in just two minutes or the perfect Italian risotto, a rustic whole chicken and soup in 10 to 15 minutes, and hearty pork stew and pork leg in 15 minutes.
