Some 150 Tourists from Japan’s Okayama Prefecture To Visit Cambodia in Early May

In early May this year, about 150 tourists from Okayama Prefecture of Japan will pay a visit to Cambodia on Cambodia Angkor Air.

The information was made known by a visiting delegation of Okayama Prefecture during a meeting here yesterday with Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon.

They are scheduled to visit Khmer ancient temples in Siem Reap cultural province and to organise a tourism expo at AEON Mall, Phnom Penh, pointed out the Japanese delegation who sought support from the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism to this upcoming visit.

In response, H.E. Thong Khon pledged to cooperate with the Japanese side in organising the visit and exhibition for mutual benefits.

Cambodia attracted 191,577 and 40,720 Japanese visitors in 2016 and the first two months of 2017, respectively.
