Thai Premier To Visit Cambodia Next Week

Prime Minster of the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, will lead a high-level delegation to pay an official visit to Cambodia on Sept. 7, 2017and hold bilateral meeting with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The visit will be made at the invitation of the Cambodian premier, said a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation made public this evening.
During the visit, it pointed out, Samdech Techo Hun Sen and his Thai counterpart will co-chair the 3rd Cambodia-Thailand Joint Cabinet Retreat (JCR).
Working under the theme “Enhanced Partnership for Peace and Prosperity”, the 3rd JCR will provide guidance and direction to further advance existing excellent and cooperative relations, to a greater extend, beneficial to the two Kingdoms, said the same source, stressing that at the conclusion of the 3rd JCR, Samdech Techo Hun Sen and H.E. Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha will preside over the signing ceremony of a number of important documents.
After the signing ceremony, a Joint Press Announcement would also be held, it added.
H.E. Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha will also pay a courtesy call on Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chum, Acting Head of State and President of the Senate, said the press release.
Both Prime Ministers will inaugurate the Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Garden in Phnom Penh, it concluded.
