Tourism Ministry To Promote Adventure Tourism at Phnom Kulen

Ministry of Tourism is planning to create a new tourism product to serve adventure tourism at Phnom Kulen National Park, a former capital of Cambodia.

The plan was shared by Mr. Chok Chumno, Director of Tourism Product Development at the Ministry of Tourism, at a quarterly meeting in Siem Reap province yesterday.

With the new product, he underlined, tourists will enjoy their holidays in Siem Reap province with ancient temples, natural tourist attractions, tourism communities and adventure travel in Phnom Kulen forest.

Siem Reap provincial authorities, especially the Provincial Tourism Department, in cooperation with the private sector, have been working to boost the Siem Reap apart from Angkor temples campaign to encourage tourists to stay longer in the province.

Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon voiced his support to the move and called for continued improvement of quality of tourism services.
