Two Ancient Temples Found in a Northeastern Province

Two ancient temples � Ou Preah and Yak Nang � have been discovered in Rattanakiri, a north-eastern province of Cambodia, according to the Ministry of Environment's news release.

Mr. Lim Vanchan, Deputy Head of Office of Information, Education and Dissemination at the Ministry of Environment, said Ou Preah Temple was found in Lumphat Wildlife Sanctuary while Yak Nang Temple in O' Yadav National Park.

Ou Preah was believed to be built in the 10th or 11th century with laterite and brick pieces on the west bank of Srepok River, while Yak Nang made of clay is likely to be older.
