U.S.-ASEAN Business Council Organises Visit of Leading U.S. Corporations to Cambodia

Economy and Finance Secretary of State H.E. Vongsey Vissoth received here late last week a delegation of U.S.-ASEAN Business Council led by its Regional Managing Director Mr. Michael W. Michalak.

Among the visiting delegation are 14 leading corporations from the United Sates interested coming to share their interest and experience.

According to H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, the visit organised by the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council in Cambodia is helpful for Cambodia which is one of the countries in the region with free market economic policy.

Through the visit, Cambodia can learn about new regional and global investment trends and challenges essential for the country to further improve its economic performance.

H.E. Secretary of State also briefed the delegation of the latest investment climate, including new initiatives and facilities, such as e-commerce, securities exchanges and auto imports.

Visiting corporations during the two-day trip include 3M, Chevron, Citi, Coca-Cola, ConocoPhillips, Dow, Ford, GE, Herbalife, Elanco, MasterCard, Microsoft, RMA Group, and Visa.
