U.S. Embassy To Host a Forum Marking World Intellectual Property Day

The World Intellectual Property Day Forum under the theme Innovation � Improving Lives will be organised by the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh, in conjunction with Westec Media Ltd, in Phnom Penh tomorrow, said the embassy in a press release.

This forthcoming event will take place at Cambodiana Hotel, starting at 8:30 a.m. and will feature remarks from Ms. Julie Chung, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy and a representative for H.E. Pan Sorasak, Cambodian Minister of Commerce, it added.

H.E. Sok Siphana, Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia, will be at the forum as the moderator, pointed out the same source.

Panelists will include representatives of Cambodia's entertainment and technology industries, government officials, and other key IPR stakeholders, it said, stressing that the topics of the two panel discussions will be: IP's Impact Across Sectors and IPR Enforcement, Resources, and Best Practices.
